My passion for photography began with a passion for sports. As a graduate and record-holding track athlete for Central Washington University, I spent weekends alternating between competing in the triple jump and shooting my teammates in their events for the student newspaper. I moved to Los Angeles after graduation in 2012, and in 2013, I attended Western Kentucky University’s Mountain Workshops in Owensboro, KY. Six months after the workshop, I landed my first staff photographer job at the Santa Clarita Valley Signal. In September 2017, I started as an editor with Getty Images, where I also photograph sports assignments regularly, and entertainment assignments as needed.
As a photographer and editor, I'm passionate about telling the stories of women and girls in sports.
